I Bought The Xperia Z1!!

Well technically, my dad did. Remember the time I was so indecisive about what to buy? I decided to go with a phone instead  because mine is pretty messed up already. Super laggy, freezes all the time, poor camera. It's time to get myself a new phone! My dad told me he could only buy me a phone on February next year. That's a really long time. Plus, I wanna enjoy my new phone during the holidays, though there's not many days left. I asked my dad if I could pay for it first and he can pay me back next year. He agreed. I purchased this phone on Christmas day :D

On that day, I couldn't decide between the Xperia Z and the Xperia Z1. I know the Z1 is better but it is a lot more expensive. What I'm looking for in a phone? Camera! The camera must be crystal clear! I'm a huge camera person and I take photos a lot so a good quality camera is a must. The Xperia Z's camera isn't that good. The Z1 was better. After a hard thinking, I finally went with the Xperia Z1. It was kinda heart-breaking to see all my savings going away just like that. :( No more buying stuff till February.

Here's the phone...

Yes... I got it in purple. For your information, it's okay for guys to like purple!!! Plus, this isn't a girly kinda purple, its more like a royal purple, kinda like the purple on Cadbury chocolate wrappers. When I was buying the phone, the salesman asked me if I wanted the phone in black or white. I was a little shocked because I did my research and it comes in purple as well. But I just said black because I'm not a fan of white-covered phones. They get dirty fast. The guy went to get a brand new phone in the box. When he came back, I looked at the box and I saw all 3 colours, including the purple! I asked him immediately if I could have the purple and he said yes. I think he wasn't expecting me to like the purple one.

As you can see in the photo, the back of my phone is matte. It is originally super glossy and shiny. I applied a matte screen protector. I really like this phone. The camera is really really good. It has a 20.7mp camera and a 2mp front facing cam. The only thing about the camera is that it doesn't take good photos under super low lighting.

This phone has a 5 inch screen and it's freaking WATERPROOF!!! That's sooo cool. Finally, I can listen to songs in the shower! Probably even Facebook or go on Youtube :D I did mention that I bought this phone on Christmas day didn't I? Since I did that, I get a discount and a free gift bag!

The gift bag consists of a calender, a Henry Cats and Friends pouch, and a small notebook which isn't in the photo above. That is all for today, I hope you guys had a great Christmas, didn't expected myself to be so happy as well. I'm like the Grinch on Christmas day but not his year :)

Christmas Greeting

Have a great time with your family and friends, eat all you want and stay safe. Since I don't celebrate Christmas, I'll probably just stay at home feeling miserable and hope someone invites me to their house. BYE!

Quadruplets Photoshoot

I have a new photo I took yesterday. As you can tell from the title, there's four of me in a photo. Well, thanks to Photoshop, I'm able to come up with a photo like this. It took a really really long time editing this photo as there were a lot of layers involved.  There's more to the photo than just the fact that there's four of me in it. There is a meaning to it. Here's the photo.

Basically, this photo shows all four of me. The 3 weird looking ones have been in all my photos for the past 2 years. In this photo, I decided to bring them all together. Lets start off with the normal looking me. As you can see, I'm wearing my school uniform. It shows that I'm just a regular student studying in a regular school living a regular life.

The one with the blonde hair is just another character that I dress up as in most of my 'normal' photoshoots. Really nothing much to say about him :)

The one with the green and blue hair appears in weird, creative or cosplay photoshoots. The blue-haired character is a lot darker and gothic whereas the green one is just cool looking. Well, at least that's what I think :D

So, that is it! I might have sounded kinda lame and amature-ish during the explanation :P I had to change my clothes, wigs, and contact lenses four times for this photoshoot. It was hard and it took a really long time. I stood in front of a huge grey sheet and what about those lines? They were just cardboard cutouts placed in front of the light source to create shadows.

I hope you guys liked this photo. Have a nice day. Owh yea, since tomorrow's Christmas, have a great time celebrating Christmas. Bye.

Romantic Movies Make Me Feel Weird

I don't know why! I'ts just weird. Every time I watch a romantic/love movie, whether I watch it in a cinema or at the comfort of my sofa, I get this weird indescribable feeling. It's kinda like a mixture of several feelings such as sadness, jealously, happiness and depression. You know, when the movie is just over and all your friends are chit-chatting and living the normal life while you stay silent as you keep thinking about the movie. Then you reach home and think about it again when you're alone. Never felt this way before? Dammit! Then I guess I am the only weird one feeling this way! I hope not.

What are some of the movies you may ask? Well, back in 2012 If I'm not mistaken of the date, the movie Tangled gave me this feeling. It was sooo weird because as I was watching the movie, I kept thinking about 2 love birds in my school. Both of my friends are in a relationship at that time and it was kinda like a love story on it's own. Well, they broke up like freaking 2 months later. Talk about living happily ever after! So as I was watching the movie, I kept thinking about them because it was kind off a shocker to all of us that they were in love. Every time there was a love scene, I would imagine it was the both of them. Isn't it the grossest thing ever?

Then in 2012, The Amazing Spider-Man did it again! I'm not even sure if it's a romantic movie. Well, there were some romantic scenes. This year, I got the feeling again from watching Warm Bodies. Awesome movie btw. It's very heart-warming to see how a zombie wins a human's heart. Owh no! I'm becoming one of those annoying people who are obsessed with love stories and stuff and goes awwwwwwwwwwww during romantic scenes. The worst part is that I watched this movie 2 times! Once with my parents and once with my friends. Double the feeling! I'm glad that I'm not into romantic movies. If i was, I would go crazy.

Camera or $Cash$

So, because I've got straight A's in my PMR exam, my dad want's to buy me something. Back in January this year, I wanted a bunny. I know, how gay, but I don't care. I really like bunnies especially Holland Lop bunnies. Later on I kinda didn't want a pet after all because I'm not a responsible person.

My dad wants to buy me a DSLR camera. I've always wanted a DSLR! I've been using digital camera's for years now and I think I deserve a good DSLR because I love photography. I'm currently using a Canon digital camera and it isn't that bad. The only thing I dislike about it is that it takes blurry photos under low light. On the other hand, I love saving money, mainly for college. So I was thinking, instead of spending the money on a camera, why not just give it to me so that I can save it.

So I'm really indecisive at the moment! I have to really think about this.

Getting My PMR Results!!!

Omg guys, I was freaking out this morning. My hands and legs were shaking and my tummy was making weird noises. The time has finally come. In 4 hours time, I'm about to collect my PMR results! This is the final year for PMR and I was one of the unfortunate students but I can't escape it can't I. I really really wanna get straight A's. I've been working my ass of for the past 3 years for this exam and if I don't reach my expectations, I'll be pretty disappointed. I woke up early this morning because I couldn't sleep last night. I didn't eat too much for breakfast as I didn't have an appetite either. We all have to wear our full school uniforms. I honestly don't think it's necessary!

My worried face. I had it on the entire time.

I also had my fingers crossed the entire time. Okay, before that, you guys are probably wondering why am I getting so paranoid over something so minor. Well, I take exams very seriously and this exam is important to me! I bet if you were in my shoes, you would feel the same way.

I reached school and I saw a bunch of students waiting outside the hall. I asked my parents to wait in the car until I found out that the principal will be announcing the results and parents are allowed to enter the hall and watch. My parents found out and they wanted to come in. I also found out that the principal will only be calling out the straight A's students on stage. The non- straight A's will collect their results from their class teachers. The so called 'ceremony' started and the straight A's will be called out in alphabetical order. When it came to the letter D, I started freaking out because there's no one I know whose name starts with the letter E and F. My name starts with the letter G. Finally, my name was called and I was on cloud 9. I started sweating and my hands were getting cold. Anyway, I ran up on stage and received my results slip.

Try to guess where I am. I'll give you a hint, I'm the one with the freaked out, non-smiling face. Yes, I was still in shock.

And that's obviously me taking a selfie.

Please ignore the fact that I'm sweating like a pig and my face is oily. Anxiety did it!

I was hanging out with my friends for a bit and then I went home :) Before I end this post, here's a photo of a beautiful christmas tree I saw. Although it has nothing to do with the topic of the day, it's nice to get into the Christmas spirit as Christmas is just around the corner :)

That is one huge tree! All right, that's all, bye :)

Do realize that it's extremely annoying to others and please change. Thank you.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup : REVIEW

Hey guys! I went to Sephora yesterday and got myself the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation.

This is actually my first time buying a high-end product. I've been stuck with drugstore foundations and I really wanted to give high-end foundations a try so I did my research and there is a ton of rave about this product. The foundation costs $45 which is quite expensive but lets hope it's worth it. So without further ado, lets get on with the review shall we...

The foundation bottle comes in a violet box and I think it looks elegant.

The foundation is stored in a frosted glass bottle and again, I think it looks very elegant and expensive. It also has a gold twisty cap. There's also a ton of shades to choose from. I think there's like 31 shades and they are divided into cool, neutral and warm.

The one thing I already hate about this foundation is that it doesn't come with a freaking pump!

Honestly, I wouldn't mind paying extra if it comes with a simple pump. The consistency is quite liquidy so do be careful when you're pouring the foundation onto your hand.

See! That's what happens when you try to pour the foundation out. It gets messy. I applied the foundation using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I have really oily skin btw. This foundation doesn't dry very quickly on your skin so that allows you to take your time when blending it in. Here's a before and after photo with only one layer of foundation.

It did cover my acne scars very well and you only need very little foundation. Amazing! It seriously does not feel heavy at all and it has a matte and airbrushed finish to it. So far, it doesn't look cakey but it will if you apply a few layers on. This foundation does cling onto dry spots so make sure you moisturize. I would usually stop after one layer and use a concealer to cover the rest of my blemishes.

Now, here's something I'm not a fan of..

This foundation has a flash back!!! But it isn't that bad.

Test time! So this foundation claims to last for up to 15 hours. I wore it the entire day yesterday for 17 hours straight without any sort of primer and setting powder and I'll be honest, it seriously stayed on my face all day! My forehead and nose did start to get a tad shiny but it's really nothing extreme.

Lets talk about the smell. This might not be a concern for some of you but I'm gonna talk about it anyway. It says on the box that it's fragrance-free. I would have to disagree with that. It does have a bit of that foundation smell to it but you can only smell it if you sniff through the hole of the foundation bottle. It kinda smells like the Revlon Colorstay but less strong.  Once you pour it out and start applying it, the smell is basically gone.

Conclusion:

PROS:

1. Great coverage
2. Wide range of shades
3. Lasts all day
4. Controls oil
5. Has a matte finish
6. Doesn't feel heavy
7. Provides an airbrushed look
8. Doesn't dry quickly

CONS:

1. Quite pricey
2. Where them pump!?!?
3. Cling onto dry spots

Will I repurchase? A big definitely YES! I would totally recommend this foundation for those of you with oily or combination skin. Normal to dry skinned people, sorry but this isn't for you.

Have a great day :)

Curse You Tomyam Soup!!

Last night, my family and I went to a Thai restaurant for dinner and we ordered like super spicy food. My dad ordered a huge bowl of tomyam soup and we all had to finish it. I don't do well with spicy food to say the least. My Chinese grandma raised me and I grew up eating Chinese food almost everyday. Unlike my sister, she used to spend more time at my Indian grandma's house. Yesterday, I have to admit, I ate like a pig. Idk if it's beacuse I was just really hungry or what. So yeah, I ate like a pig, woke up this morning and my stomach was killing me! I made like 5 unpleasant trips to the toilet and I lost my appetite. Diarrhea + anxiety = MADNESS! Hope it goes away as soon as possible!

PMR Exam Results Is In 3 Days!

Omg! I'm literally shaking right now. I can't eat, can't sleep and I don't even feel like talking. My parent's are getting really annoyed by the way I'm acting but you can't blame me for this. I mean, I take exams really really really seriously and I want to make sure I get good results. I really hope I get straight A's. I am really worried about my 'Bahasa Melayu' and 'Kemahiran Hidup' marks. Every one of my friends are also worried about these two subjects. Everyone is posting how worried and nervous they are on Facebook and they keep going on and on about the results date. Yea! I get it! Stop making me more worried.

The results are out this Thursday at 10 in the morning and every student has to wear their full uniform. If you couldn't make it to school, you can also get your results via sms. No way I'm gonna do that. So wish me luck guys, fingers crossed, bye.

Boo The Dog is Mine!

Hey guys! So I was in KLCC yesterday and I passed by Toys "R" Us. I glanced into the shop and I saw Boo The Dog!!! The stuffed toy of course. I immediately entered the shop and ran towards it. It was the cutest thing ever! I was with my friends and they were so embarrassed by me getting all excited but seriously, how can you resist the cuteness of Boo The Dog. Its too bad that they've never heard of him. I checked the price and wow! $21.99! I was indecisive whether to buy it or not. I mean $21.99 is a lot. I decided to not buy it and my friends were like "Whohoo finally! Now please lets get out of here." As I was walking out, I kept thinking about it and I went with my first instinct, which is to BUY IT.

I asked my friends to wait outside as I went back in and bought it. I went home and unboxed it. Well, it doesn't really come in a box. Its just on its own with a tiny tag on its ear. I removed all the tags because I absolutely hate them.

Meet Boo the Stuffed Toy :)

Isn't it cute or what! And it looks just like the real Boo. That's no surprise as the real Boo already looks like a stuffed toy.

That's how the back looks like. Cute tail. Check out the detailing of his face in the picture below.

It also feels extremely soft. This would be the perfect toy for your kids or girlfriends as it's so cuddly. It's sad to admit but buying this toy makes me feel closer to the real Boo. Okay, that's all for now. Owh yeah, I finally purchased the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and I'm gonna be doing a review on it next.

Bye :)

My Parents' Thoughts on Tattoos

Hi guys. When I grow up, I want a tattoo. Not a huge one. Just a tiny one on my hand but that's never gonna happen because my parents HATE tattoos! Okay, the hate is mostly coming from my dad and not so much from my mom but what annoys me is their reason why they hate tattoos. According to them, if someone has a tattoo, they are a gangster. When they first told me that, I was shocked! They also told me that if you had a tattoo, you would get arrested due to the police thinking I'm into some kinda cult activity. And you expect me to buy that because? Like seriously? I've seen a ton of people, men and women, with tattoos and they're not a gangster and I bet they never were arrested either. I'm sorry mum and dad but that is just shallow thinking.

Tattoos doesn't show that you're a gangster. Tattoo is art. If you love and appreciate art, you wouldn't be against tattoos.

Sometimes, tattoos can show love and mean something deep to someone.

So, don't hate on tattoos because tattoos are beautiful.

Leadership Course Experience

Heya guys. I apologize for not posting anything for quite some time now. I've been really busy and tired lately. I actually attended a leadership course organized by Prudential Assurance in Concorde Hotel . My mom works there so she signed me up without even telling me. Because of that, I had to cancel my plans with my friends. The course was on the 5th and 6th of December. Yeap, a 2 days course, but of course, I get to go home in the evening. The course starts at 9am and ends at 5.30pm each day. When my mom first told me about this, I was sooooo not interested. I'm just not into stuff like this.

I guess it was too late, she already signed me up. I had to wake up extra early to escape the traffic jams to town. That isn't the only reason though. The people attending the course are complete strangers to me and I don't really get along with people I haven't met. That's my entrance pass. I felt like a college student.

Surprisingly enough, I actually had fun.. ALOT OF FUN during the course. I did get along with the people there quite well, thanks to their friendliness.

There were games too, and they weren't like friggin musical chairs and stuff. I did made more friends on the second day. We were separated into 3 groups and we had to do a presentation on what we had learnt. That just brings me back to those miserable old school days where we had to do similar things. Plus, to make things worse, our presentation had to be done IN FRONT OF OUR PARENTS! It's pure humiliation for us all. We had no choice anyway so we just tried our best. It went well for me but not for some of them. One girl actually started crying. Finally, it was all over! Owh yea, I've also got theseee

A participation certificate and 2 RM20 AEON gift vouchers. You can also see my long ass name -_- Here's also a photo taken by the organizer of me and my mom.

Taken using one of those Instax cameras. Pretty cool huh. I swear, it was the most tiring 2 days of my life! My legs were aching like crazy and my eyes were super strained. I don't do well with yellow lights. Reached home, took a bath and went straight to bed. :)
